The Krewe of African Kings was founded in 1990 by a group of parishioners who wanted to provide amusement, fellowship and education during the Mardi Gras Season.  Our king depicts one of the kings in Africa and a brief history is given in the form of a skit at our Ball.  Membership is open to any like minded men of St. Joseph as well as the community.
